Don’t
worry. Be happy. It’s a big world bud. Think larger than a cubicle. If you are
an entrepreneur with nothing to lose but, hope still holding on. Don’t let the
little things in life get you down.
There’s
no secret to gaining a competitive advantage. Find out what separates you from
the better performers. If they are smarter, here’s your chance to read
something useful the monotone of the internet text makes this sound mean but in
no way am I trying to be mean.
Ambition?
Simple, always try your hardest. I have always tried harder in my life, and
never have I regretted it, though, ‘believing
is always the subs’ Statistics or general math? No idea. It’s not my field
to decide. Recap: Never stop trying your hardest. Never stop discovering
yourself. Never stop moving.
I know you can do it man. There are 7 billion
people in this world, and we are still surviving But
this is good, because this shows you have the capacity to analyze a situation
and ask potentially relevant questions.
I'm going to ask you to do something simple
and difficult.
Simple because we don't need to get into the whole "follow your bliss" and "build on strength" industries. Difficult because we do need to get into a pretty big challenge and you are the only one to make this happen. Those list of questions. Keep them for later. You can call on them again once you get into analytical exercises. Right now, you don't have enough to engage meaningfully into such analyses.

Once you've achieved this, become the
#1 entry of (your occupation) among all the other top-producing entry level
sales executives of comparable size firm in the metropolitan area. When
you've achieved this, you'll have lots of people giving you unsolicited advice
about what they see as your strengths and ways you can do really well.
You
don't need to bother too much doing thought experiments. Yes, I understand the
"I have lost my zeal" feeling. You can be the best at your job
without waking up passionately yearning to sell a new credit card product. This is how you (begin to) succeed in life.
This is a question my clients ask me all the
time. Most people hit the snooze button, not just in the morning,
but in their life—I am a fan of creating my own success and breaking down the
norms, and to do that you have to take responsibility for your intentions,
actions and ultimately your execution.
Instead they had to hunt and pursue their food, because if they did not they would starve and die.
They ate what they killed and that really is the ultimate form of taking responsibility for their success... Now it might seem a little dramatic to link that situation with modern day success building, but to me, it makes perfect sense. If I am not hunting and pursing my goals then there is never going to be anything for me to accomplish. Now this might be hard for you to think about if you work for someone else, in a comfortable, 9-5 that pays based on just showing up.
However, I have to believe that you have goals outside of your job, right? So how are you going to achieve those goals? Are you hunting on a daily basis? Are you taking steps to better increase the likelihood of your success? Look, if you want to be the person that just hops over to the moment and grabs a bag of trail mix, then you are never going to be obtaining anything outside of your sphere of comfort. I have busted down that door in my own life by taking responsibility for my own development.
