HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF FIRST (2)

Your feelings are just indicators—of how you’re responding to changes and situations. However, you don’t feel a situation—you feel your thoughts about that situation. If you have labeled a feeling, thought has already entered the picture right?
You might as envy, jealousy, lust whatever—proceed to judge it negatively, you might then try to change it or become helpless since you already felt it and are therefore evil. That is like hating a thermometer for showing that you have fever.
However, feeling lust happens and a reactive thought pops up in your mind just like that, much uninvited. That could be a result of many things including childhood conditioning, current stress, circumstance, mood, environment and million things outside of your control or powers.

As the aphorism goes, “your problem is you’re…too busy holding onto yourself unworthiness.”

The power that created this universe has often been referred to as love. GOD IS LOVE, we have often heard the statement: love makes the world go round. It’s all true. Is the binding agent that holds the universe together? For me I think self love this way, “if I don’t love myself, why should anyone else”, the symbol of love in all the earth, is there for me and you and we’ re the ones to practice that. How do we start? We start by loving ourselves first. Nevertheless, you deserve your own love because you are living your own life. No one else is going to give you the love you deserve and thus, it is best to gift yourself that.

Loving yourself is a very important phase in growing up and maturing because it is when you realize that you are worth living. That you’re worth it as a human being—because you’re able to love yourself. Furthermore, taking the step to decide that you indeed truly love yourself, it takes whole lot of courage, confidence and understanding. Nevertheless, it’s the best decision.

Love is a deep appreciation.  When we talk about loving ourselves, I feel a deep appreciation for whom we truly are. We accept all the different parts of ourselves—our little peculiarities, and all the wonderful qualities, too. We accept the whole package of unconditional love. In order for you to love yourself, it’s good to always let-go of all your past negative views. When we let go of all our negative views it frees us.  Because not letting go filters us. Since we are too prone to negative thoughts, feelings and sometimes aspirations—it is good to let go of it to enhance our self-love.
